At last, the 2009 season has officially began! We had our season-opener kick-off session on Saturday, May 2nd at our docking area at Cass Park.
We ran two full boats, including 25 new paddlers!! The club continues to grow, and we feel we have laid the groundwork to successfully manage the continuing growth of the program. This year, for example, we are running both a Competitive and a Recreational Division.
What if I missed opening day?
Don't worry if you missed the season opener. There will be a training session at the beginning of each gathering to get us all off on the right "stroke."
This will be a great season! We are looking forward to seeing many new members! There are new boat covers, a new shed and some new equipment to go along with it!
